Description
A baby humpback, taking the cue from it's mom, dozes in the warm surface waters of the South Pacific on a sunny and calm winters day. This baby will stay in the breeding grounds for another two months before beginning the migration to the feeding grounds 6000km South. The whales will follow the Tonga trench and then Kermadec trench down to New Zealand where they must then face the gauntlet of packs of Orca, killer whales, before passing the East of Australia and Tasmania and entering into the Southern Whale Sanctuary of the Antarctic Ocean. If this baby survives the journey will it survive the harpoons of Japan that may wait for it there. Will it ever see it's pacific holiday home again.
