Description
A freckled hawkfish rests in the branches of a robust acropora formation. The hawkfish lack a swim bladder so spends most of it's time perched in hard corals like this. When the moment is right it swoops down upon it's victim. The damaged skin on it's forehead evidence of the tenacity this little hunter possesses.
