Description
Between feeds a baby Humpback whale soars through the seemingly endless blue of the warm South Pacific, as if exulting in the freedom of its existence. The small whale, only weeks old, is blissfully unaware of the journey ahead and only two short months the calf and it's watchful mother will make one of the longest migrations in the animal kingdom, 6000km south to their feeding grounds in the Antarctic Ocean. Once there, the skills that are now being honed through this play will become crucial to it's survival when the hunting begins.
